About Dr. Shamoun
Dr. Shamoun graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During her time in Philadelphia, she was a leader in the American Student Dental Association and co-founded the Digital Dentistry Club, reflecting her commitment to integrating advanced technology into patient care.
Driven by the intersection of art and science, Dr. Shamoun completed her orthodontic residency and a Master’s in Orofacial Sciences at UC San Francisco. As a board certified orthodontist, she is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics.

Dr. Shamoun believes a confident smile profoundly enhances quality of life. She is dedicated to highly personalized care, prioritizing patient education and collaboration from the very first evaluation.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside the office, Marina enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and cooking. Most of all, she treasures time spent with her husband, Bashar, and their two children, Ella and Chris.
